4.5 earthquake Pleasant Hill, Ca. I felt it down here

My daughter felt it in Oakland

While 4.5 is considered moderate, so far it does not appear to create any major injuries or issues

3. Calaveras Fault actually

Hayward Fault that far north runs through Berkeley.

7. KCBS said it was the Hayward fault It was north of Pleasant Hill north of 680. That could very

well be the Hayward fault

Hayward fault runs all up the East bay

10. Pleasant Hill not "ville" is on the Calaveras Fault

it's not on the Hayward Fault.

do you know where the faults are?

12. I am repeating what the radio said, and yeah I had a typo

KCBS just said again it was epi-centered on the Hayward fault.

Whether that is correct or not I don't know, but I do know one thing, I am not arrogant, insulting or
rude

and yeah, KCBS is probably wrong, but the way the Hayward, Calaveras and other branches of the San Andreas may be why KCBS is reporting it one way

We will see what the analysis brings tomorrow

There was also a 2.5 pre-shock which I didn't feel

8. Felt like a sharp jolt and simultaneous horizontal shift up here in Fairfield.

It really rattled things.

15. I felt one in TX a few years ago that was around that strong.

Very surreal.
