(24,653 posts)I am of the impression women may be a serious deciding factor in our country's salvation at this juncture. Not to discount the Shiffs, Schumers, Naders, etc amongst us. But I really hope history doesn't once again male-wash a watershed moment.

(24,653 posts)Basically, I'm gratified to see badass women doing the right thing and hoping those who write the history of this period don't gloss over that and give credit for saving our nation where credit is due. Women's contributions tend to get forgotten over time. I'm just hoping things really have changed enough for that not to happen yet again.
