That action does not appear to be a simple cut and dried and simple one, i.e., he was having a tantrum or is just crazy or ignorant, (though you could add them in).

I think there is a method in the madness. For instance, there are vast oil and gas reserves in Syria. The motivations are there for the usual suspects.

a lot of oil it seems. And don't forget that pipeline pooty has been pushing for the last 15 or so years. One that runs from the Caspian to the Mediterranean so that gasprom can get their oil out to sea.

I really don't get why it needed to link to something else. Seriously, did you think I made this myself or took it from an unreliable source?

I have a Twitter account, but I've never tweeted or re-tweeted anything. I've had two "followers" for a few years, but judging from their pictures they're either Russian escorts or bots. The tweets from the people I follow show up in the social tab of my email so I really don't even bother with Twitter unless it happens to be too long for the preview pane. Is the image I posted only pertinent if you can read comments from somewhere other than here?

Maybe you could explain to me why a tweet is more helpful than a capture of it. I post images & memes here all the time but this has never come up. It did at least twice in this thread though. Does it have something to do with viewing it from a phone?

It's just an image. It was a meme on my FB feed from LeftAction, albeit an image of a tweet. It wasn't a link to a tweet there either. I had to go to Twitter to find the actual tweet for you. I guess I'm still wondering why it was necessary.
