Former Trump Organization executive says she expects President Trump will resign

New York (CNN Business)A former Trump Organization executive says she thinks President Donald Trump may resign rather than face possible removal from office by impeachment.

"He does a lot of things to save face," Barbara Res, a former Trump Organization vice president, told CNN's Brian Stelter on Reliable Sources Sunday.

"It would be very, very, very bad for him to be impeached," Res said. "I don't know that he'll be found guilty but I don't know that he wants to be impeached. I think that's what this panic is about. And my gut [instinct] is that he'll leave office, he'll resign. Or make some kind of a deal, even, depending on what comes out."

Res said she was hesitant to share her opinion, because "I could very well be wrong."

Her gut tells her that he will resign.

I hope her gut is telling her right!

That should just about shut-him up one would think.

Its caving in on The Con now.

The Con has no guts!

We know that already so he will run, run and hide!

That is the hope anyway.

Convict him after he is out of office seems like a plan to me.

in his own mind/ego.
One says "STAY - you're the bestest of them all!"
The other says "Make an excuse, walk away with your finger in the air!"

NOBODY knows which one will win.

I don't believe he will resign until Republican Senators abandon him wholesale …..It doesn't appear that is going to happen …...I wonder what it would take for these jerks to vote to convict Trump ? They've chosen Career over Country ….

12. If he resigns, immunity from prosecution and releasing his taxes will be part of the deal.

He'll want to get off scot-free so he can continue his "witch hunt" and "no collusion" tour (he loves the adulation), and somehow keep scamming the American taxpayer.

14. Give the Republican Senators evidence that he has already...

Thrown them under the bus to take the fall, so that he and his family can enrich themselves more at their expense.

Find the evidence that shows he has already double-crossed all of them and the only way to save their hides is to save themselves to dump him first.

All of you know this is going to come down to a deal that allows him, his family, and the Republican Party to NOT be exposed for being whores to the Russians that sold out the United States. And the Democratic Party will have to bite the bullet and allow the Republican Party to survive without exposing the whole truth to save the country from itself. It's not hard to see that unless you haven't paid attention the last fifty years.

9. I believe he will resign, and soon. He needs Pence to pardon him for the Fed crimes.

If Pence gets caught up in the impeachment, trump loses his ace in the hole.

He’ll take his chances on the state crimes, hoping that quitting as POTUS will give the state guys enough vindication to let him skate.

Most likely the excuse will be some trumped up health reason, which he will also use to gain sympathy to avoid other prosecutions.
