Reporters should stop worrying about access

Just read a story from Washington Post that trump would try to delay changes if ACA is repealed in court. I read news stories every day that the facts in place about what is happening in the W.H., on Capitol Hill and gop backroom meetings. So why do the reporters who still have access to the stinking pile bother to stay on his good side? I haven't seen a view of the press corps for ages. I don't think there's any cachet left to share.
I hope when the stink is gone that the press corps is rebuilt and the Press Secretary position regains its reputation.
