The Senate won't remove Trump. Will they help him steal it in 2020?
Of course they will. Republicans cling to power by rigging elections. Beyond their voter suppression practices they: Rig voting machines; "Lose" countless Dem votes; "Cleanse" voter lists; Call and direct Dems to wrong voting places; Shut down polls in Dem districts; Set up bot calls spewing lies; Pass laws for forms of IDs that most poor (Dem) voters don't possess; And, of course, depend on Russia to kick in every bit of help they can.
But before any of these tactics come into play, they soften up Dem candidates with lies spewed by Fox/Limbaugh and their entire hate radio and online hate machine. And they do it over periods of years. (They attacked and demonized Hilary for 25 years before she ran for president. Whitewater, Emails, Benghazi, a pedophile pizza parlor, etc., etc.) This is what they do. They define their opponents, and few actually care when they then put up their own candidate with a 666 tattoo on his forehead. (Trump "won" in 2016, but ask his voters why they hate Hilary. Most will tell you she's a "bitch," but can't come up with any intelligent explanation. That's how brainwashing works.)
Think that Trump can't be exonerated and end up with another four years? Think again.
Our democracy is, at this very moment, gasping to survive. Four more years of Trump will be the death of any semblance of democracy in America.
Somehow, someway, the Republican Party must be made to disintegrate and go away forever. At this very moment, they are planning to exonerate Trump in the Senate. And, if they help him steal the 2020 election, it will be the end of our individual freedoms.
Trump's rhetoric aside, we are already in a virtual civil war. And it's one we must win because the alternative would be horrific.
