Like most long-time married couples, my wife and I have a morning routine.

Because she has more stuff to do than I do first thing in the morning, she gets up half an hour earlier. After her shower, she wakes me with a cheery "Good morning!"

I invariably ask her, "Is Trump still President?" So far, she has always responded, "Yes. Sorry." I live for the day when she gives me a different answer. May that day come soon.

When I turn on my tablet every morning hoping to read a headline about him resigning or being arrested, but that never happens, either. I guess there are lots of us in this boat!

To relish the "No." as long as I live.

Although, depending on the breaks, I may ask, "Is Trump still in prison?"

My best friend and I go dancing at least twice a week, usually 3. As soon as we get back in the car, I check in here at DU to see if Trump quit, or his head exploded in a rage. I live for either one.
