Trump and the Squandering of Time

He could have been a rich guy who cared. He could have really helped the working class. He could have really improved healthcare. He could have led in any number of good initiatives.

But, no.

He has selfishly loafed his term away. He has squandered that which is finite and final.

He squandered our time.

If he had taken his inheritance from his asshole daddy, liquidated it, and just put it in index/mutual funds, he'd be far richer than his current net worth.

3. Agree. How could anyone squander an opportunity where they could do so much for the world? Skittles

Skittles is probably right, but it's hard to fathom.

I know trump first ran in the primaries for publicity, with no thoughts of winning. But, when you wake up in the White House and recognize all the power one has to do good, it takes a special kind of sicko to squander it.

several times over the past few years i have thought.. gee, if he had taken the side of democrats what HUGE things could have been accomplished-- and he then would REALLY have been a hero and 'loved' and admired and praised .. everything he craves..

except of course he is also being blackmailed, so there is that...

oh, well.........

WOW! Great post! So busy being angry and scared, I overlooked this view. You are so right. Look at all the good he could have accomplished! And the wasted time.
