This is just my not so humble opinion, but....
He is a loser. He has been a loser all his life. He KNOWS he is a loser.
As someone who was a millionaire by the time he was 8 years old due to daddy parking real estate $$$ in his name (to avoid taxes), who inherited the equivalent of 415 million dollars from daddy, and LOST over 400 million of it, HE KNOWS HE IS A LOSER. His trick is to hide the fact the he is such an EPIC LOSER.
He DIDN'T write the book, The Art of the Deal, but paid someone to write it. It was all a lie, but the media took it as gospel, and ran with it. Rules had never applied to him, and since he bought, rather than earned, all his success, he had no intentions of changing. But now he was in need of the money.
The turd was saved by the Russian ruble, and his new sugar daddy, Putin.
Putin knew he had a live one on the line, and decided to go big or go home.
I (personally) think it was at the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant (while ogling underage contestants) that Putin first started whispering into the turd's ear about the presidency. The turd so wanted to be rich, on the level of a Russian oligarch rich (their concept of decor was similar as the trashy bordello chic level of the turd - see Trump penthouse apartment), and thought Putin could be the source of money to make him one, he started to think about it.
He wasn't terribly serious about it, until the 2016 White House Correspondents Dinner.
THAT really got to him. Obama was hilarious, but it, unfortunately, turned out to be at our expense.
Putin, who had run Russia into the ground, while becoming one of, if not THE richest man on the planet, was upset that he had sanctions on him (and other Russian oligarchs), and wanted them lifted. He saw the turd as a means to achieve that. A way to inject chaos into the most successful democracy on the planet, which would be to his benefit.
Richard Branson, of Virgin, said that when he had lunch with Trump in the early 90's, all he talked about was the people who had done him wrong, and how he was going to get even with them, pay them back.
If he feels slighted by anyone, they will get payback. THAT is how you feel WHEN YOU ARE A LOSER!!!
When he descended the escalator in Trump Tower, he (in my not so humble opinion) was only concerned about boosting his brand. He would make a TON of money off of this little adventure. But he had to con the American people to do it.
Again, in my not so humble opinion, he knew he wouldn't win. He couldn't win. The numbers weren't there.
Little did he know just how much his BFF Putin would affect the votes in the exact states that would give him the electoral college.
So even though he LOST THE ELECTION by almost 3,000,000 votes, due to Putin's manipulating those votes, he won the EC by approximately 70,000 votes in the exact states needed for him to win the EC.
So now he is going to be president.
So what does he set about doing? He is remembering that White House Correspondents Dinner where Obama humiliated him, BIGLY, in public, in front of the nation.
His response? He will undo EVERYTHING Obama did as president.
THAT is what a LOSER would do.
Bottom line, DONALD TRUMP IS THE ULTIMATE LOSER, and his chickens are coming home to roost.
Chicken shit is EXTREMELY fertile. A little too much, and it will completely burn up any thing it is applied to.
Donald Trump, THE LOSER, has put so much chicken shit out there, he is reaping his own, inevitable, and extremely just, reward.
I think most of the evidence of my "conspiracy" has been in news reports, but I have NO proof, other than the logical chronology, of the advent of "whispering in the turd's ear"....
