Source confirms: Ambassador Volker will be leaving the @McCainInstitute. Source adds that the Institute had been sticking with him until the text messages were released and it came out that Volker was much more involved in the Ukraine scandal then he had led others to believe.

Trump will make one stupid too. 
He sounded as though he was genuinely trying to help Ukraine navigate an impossible situation. That said, he clearly broached and even ran through the line of acceptability making himself essentially an accomplice.
... if they are any indication, made it sound like Volker was a willing participant in the shake-down, at least until the Whistleblower's report came out.
