Will be with a live audience, of which Ill be a part of!
Yes, Im fully aware that going to a MSNBC broadcast on a Friday night is either super lame or super cool. Im fine with either adjective, as I still havent settled on whether its cool or lame.

(4,305 posts)I go with cool. Lame would be someone going who has no interest in politics.

(1,822 posts)You picked an insane news week. But it has been insane for far too long.

(14,766 posts)were dead news days. All the regulars would be off and second stringers would push puff pieces. There was never any friday night news to speak of.
Until trump. They seem to love to do friday revelations. probably to tee up the sunday talk shows with things he wants them to discuss.
Won't be boring. Have fun.

(23,322 posts)At least its cool for political nerds like us. You should have some kind of hand signal, gesture or t-shirt so we can spot you. Kind of like the pink hat green shirt guy who sits behind home plate at Cubs games. It was his way of letting his wife know he was really at the games. Anyway, enjoy yourself. Let us know how it goes.

(169 posts)I vote super lame. I don't like his Friday night schtick, as I think he has no talent in front of a live audience. In addition, I think there truly should be a definite divide between news and entertainment.

(7,634 posts)I saw his previous live audience shows and he was very good at it. Much better than in studio when he often let himself be gish galloped by gopers.

(1,353 posts)His opening segment was an awesome and concise story telling of the current situation. It was like a TED talk performance. How did it play sitting in the audience?
