A Giuliani-Pete Sessions quid pro quo?

It seems odd that then-Texas GOP Congressman Pete Sessions would have been one of the people lobbying Imbecile45 to fire Marie Yovanvitch.

"After months of hearing complaints by his fellow Republicans, President Donald Trump fired Marie Yovanovitch, the then-ambassador to Ukraine. And one of those Trump allies is putting his name on his (productive) whining in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani told the Journal that Yovanovitch was impeding his work to get officials in Ukraine to investigation Joe and Hunter Biden.

Any coincidence that Giuliani had a big fundraiser in Houston in support of Sessions' ultimately failed bid for re-election? Now that Sessions has thrown his hat into the congressional ring for 2020, I hope this is further scriutinized.

"Sept. 12, 2018. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, the personal attorney to President Donald Trump, is headlining a Dallas event next week that will raise money for the re-election campaign of U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Dallas.

According to an invitation obtained by The Texas Tribune, Giuliani will be a "guest speaker" at an annual awards dinner for Dallas Republicans. Requested donations will go toward a joint fundraising committee that will support Sessions' re-election bid."....(more)
