donnie's accusations about biden have all the credibility of his accusations about obama's birth.

the media are proving themselves suckers at best, co-propagandists at worst.

they've already been burned by this liar, they should not grant any semblance of credibility to these accusations.

1. What is it, exactly, that Hunter is supposed to have done that was so terrible?

He was on the board of directors of a Ukrainian gas company, but he wasn't an officer or other employee. Boards of directors typically don't control or direct day-to-day operations but merely set policy and conduct general oversight. And Biden was only one of a number of directors of Burisma, and as such he could not have single-handedly controlled anything.

CEO of the company is Taras Burdeinyi and chairman of the board is Alan Apter. A number of non-Ukrainian directors were appointed in 2014, including Aleksander Kwaśniewski, former President of the Republic of Poland, appointed in January 2014. In February 2016, Joseph Cofer Black, the Director of the American CIA’s Counterterrorist Center (CTC) (1999–2002) in the George W. Bush administration and Ambassador at Large for counter-terrorism (2002–2004) joined Burisma’s Board of Directors. Also Karina Zlochevska, daughter of Mykola Zlochevskiy, is a member of the board. Other members of the board are Christina Sofocleous, Riginos Charalampous, and Marina Pericleous.

On 18 April 2014, Hunter Biden, the son of then-US vice president Joe Biden, was appointed to the board of Burisma Holdings. He left the company in April 2019. At the same time, one of the board members was Devon Archer, a former senior adviser to John Kerry 2004 presidential campaign.

Are any of these other directors being investigated? No? If there was "corruption" at Burisma, why are the others not under investigation?

3. Obviously, they're just trying to manufacture a scandal.

They figure between hunter being son of a vice-president, the company having been investigated (although not when hunter was involved), and corporate director being perceived as a money-for-no-work job, it has enough to allow them to paint it as a scandal even if no one fix anything wrong.

Just as Obama having a kenyan father (and bring black, of course) was just enough to fabricate the idea that he wasn't a natural born citizen -- even though his mother was from Kansas, case closed.

that was wrong (besides being paid well for sitting on a board of directors) that nobody else on that board seems to have done?

4. Trump wants to bring everyone down as low as he functions.

Trump is very insecure and is compelled to diminish anyone he encounters. This is the challenge of his fundamental personality disorder.

6. i'm no longer surprised by *him*. it's his enablers who piss me off.

the media should know better, and should characterize the accusations as "likely fabricated", "convenient", "self-serving", "bearing the hallmarks of corrupt dictatorships and banana republics" and so on.

instead, they put them out there and act like we should keep an open mind and who knows and maybe there is something there.

it's a load of crap and the media damn well knows it.

From his perspective, doubling down on lies is the way to win.
Let's prove him wrong.

7. thanks to the media, we're on the defensive, having to prove a negative.

how are we supposed to prove hunter biden's job wasn't corrupt, and why should we have to?

the burden of proof is on the accusers, and they got nothing, but they get to spread their accusations far and wide.
