He was appointed by Obama to run some office after he took office but then right-wingers ginned up some kind of "scandal" about him in those early days- him being too "radical" or something. and Obama felt like he had to let him go. I think that he started to go sideways when he made a comment about Trump seeming "Presidential" after giving a halfway normal SOTU speech or something.

They've broken several major impeachment-related stories and have been stalwart in their criticism of Dotard. They, like MSNBC, have a few hosts/commentators who are useless, like Jones.

Erin Burnett for quite some time. She will ask a leading question then sit back with a smirk.

Never watched Van Jones.

But did listen to a little bit of Trump this morning at Shady Acres or whatever. He was going on about how he did not need this job, he should be sitting among them. It flashed through my mind, this guy knows he is done, getting ready to resign.

They got sick of the cold, wet, overcast winters here in Pittsburgh, plus they both like the idea of year-round golf.

Anyway, they knew what they were getting into when they moved there. Though they're not the gossipy types, they can tell you some interesting stories about Geritol Babylon and the wild sex parties. When they heard Trump was coming to town, they thought it was an ideal time to head to Disney for the week to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, which is today.

we even follow each other on twitter, but ever since tRump signed the First Step Act and Mr Jones joined forces with Kim Kardashian-West an Mr Kushner, he's been far too uncritical--and frankly often supportive--of this administration. I understand he has ulterior motives and the inmates are a worthwhile cause, but damn. He was never this solicitous of Pres Obama; when Obama did something wrong, Mr Jones was more than happy to say so.

I think most people are smart enough to know BS when they hear it. I also think most people say some things that are wrong if they talk enough.

A lot of good Democrats are not sure Impeachment is right thing, although a lot less are concerned after past few weeks.

Jones is probably wrong here, but that’s OK.

Sometimes — perhaps you are thinking, a lot of times — I’m wrong and need to consider other views. Jones is not like listening to a GOPer with bad intentions.

I'd probably have a hard time keeping from punching them if I ran across them in public.

But, I don't have that ire for Van Jones, Michael Steele, a few sensible right leaners on other outlets, etc. And I like to see clips from FOX when they are freaking out.

He said at a GOP event that the GOP is leading on criminal justice reform. Everybody thought that was a crazy inaccurate thing to say. I mean Democrats can be doing a lot more on that front, but to say the GOP is leading is just ridiculous.
