The Repukes are defending tRump's breaking of these laws...

1) Illegally soliciting campaign help from a foreign government

2) Bribery

3) Theft of Taxpayer Money or Misappropriation

4) Criminal Conspiracy

This is just out of that one phone call to Ukraine

It's simple and to the point.

He broke #1 today in front of cameras.

This is why the Dems are so focused and confident. tRump confessed his crimes and is practically impeaching himself.

Turns out: YES! It sounds very much like Trump saying, "Hey, China, investigate my political rival and meddle in our election if you want a good deal on the trade war!!"

Here's part of the reply I got from Steve Womack:

There are only three charges severe enough for impeachment: treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors. I read the transcript of the phone call, and based on all evidence currently available, there was no quid pro quo, no mention of withholding foreign aid, and no impeachable offense . Instead of doing their due diligence, Democrats have once again rushed to a judgement that fits their narrative without all of the facts. Regardless, please know that I will continue to monitor the situation to ensure that the President and other federal officials are acting within the scope of the law.

So, I guess Paul Simon was correct. "A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest."

And the Volker testimony shows several quid pro quos. Womack is an idiot. He knows these are high crimes, including Bribery and extortion.

If he were put under oath and questioned, then yes. Lying would be one of them.

These are the most blatant laws he's broken.
