Trump is duplicating his 2016 campaign.

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.”

Exactly like his China comment today:

"China should start an investigation into the Bidens because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with Ukraine,"

It worked before so why not use it again?

It was bad in 2016 when he was a civilian but now that he’s president it’s a whole new thing. He has no concept that the office of the president creates a whole new set of responsibilities and limitations.

And making asinine statements like that to a geopolitical rival if not outright hostile nation state as the POTUS such as he did is insane. This constant ideology of his to do stupid things, admit them freely and double down on them to pretend that they are not wrong/illegal/both is lunacy.

He uses this ALL THE FUCKING TIME!!!

Racist comments? No problem, just make some more...

EVERYONE says "It was Russia, and they helped you specifically"? No problem, just keep screaming "no collusion, total vindication" (even when you are told, point blank, 'that's not what the report SAYS...')

Required to turn over tax returns? No problem, keep lying about an audit then just refuse to obey the law...

It is GAME FUCKING OVER pal...you are a fool, a bigot and a menace to the globe. It is time for you to go away now, for a very, very long time, during which I hope you die painfully.

His Biden-Ukraine gambit failed (blew up in his face).

So he will try the Biden-China gambit to see if the media ruin Biden for the public with that canard.

We are told that tRump plays 5D chess.

the end always justifies the means, no matter what. At this point, Trump is desperate to make sure the Biden name gets dragged in the mud, to make it look reasonable to his supporters that he asked for what he asked from the Ukrainian leader.

If there's even 10% of what Manafort did, then it will justify everything Trump's done on this, at least to his base, and they will keep GOP Senators in line. Trump's figured out that the Senators are more afraid of being successfully primaried than losing in a general election.

Manufacturing a case against Hunter Biden does them no harm, and it is a bargaining chip that they can create out of thin air to use in trade negotiations with Trump.

Even if Joe Biden should become President and resent China for doing this to his son, he's still not going to be half the asshole that Trump is on trade policy.
