of Ukraine. Trump has his hands our in front of him and is running his mouth, Zelensky is leaning back in his chair, kind of slumped to one side with his eyes rolled to the side at Trump with the expression on his face speaking very loudly "this guy is crazy".

that was my impression the first time I saw that video and the next time I saw it I got a screen capture of the scene.

I don't know how to post a photo on DU or I would have posted it.

his entire life. His "organization" allowed him to act and believe he was the big cheese making all the decisions and his family underlings allowed him to act like a 70ish year-old potentate throughout. He's been fluffed and placated the way incorrigible two year olds are by the adult nannies hired by their wealthy parents. He's now in the biggest pond imaginable and he's drowning (and has been) before all the eyes of the world to see. What kills me, though, is the fact that were not just a few people that believed that when he became POTUS he'd somehow change. He didn't because he can't. He is what he is and that's all that he is. He is in a constant state of agitation and growing because he's out of his depth and he can't find bottom.

For Finland’s President and Other Guests of Trump, Stoicism Is Key
A placid face and a willingness to expect the unexpected has become the price of admission for any foreign ally who hopes for a productive audience with President Trump.

WASHINGTON — An awkward handshake is really the least of their worries.

As President Trump continues to rage against impeachment — and the Democrats and whistle-blower he holds responsible for bringing it about — visiting world leaders are encountering a different kind of diplomatic mission.

It includes a welcome ceremony, a meeting with Mr. Trump and an invitation to sit stone-faced for an indeterminate amount of time on live television as the president accuses people of treason, lies and corruption. And sometimes the session is reprised a little later in a formal news conference.

That was what happened on Wednesday when President Sauli Niinisto of Finland became the latest foreign leader to strike a straight-lipped contrast to Mr. Trump as Mr. Trump defended himself and attacked his adversaries. Not once but twice.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2019/10/03/stephen-colbert-trump-finnish-president-meme/

‘Has anyone checked in on the president of Finland?’: Trump’s ‘off the rails’ performance turned a foreign leader into a meme

As the threat of impeachment continued to loom over President Trump on Wednesday, Seth Meyers aimed to shed light on the day’s biggest question: “How is the president handling all this emotionally?”

“What’s his state of mind?” the NBC host asked Wednesday night. “How’s he holding up?”

Luckily, Meyers’s fellow late-night comics had answers.

“Donald Trump is clearly losing it,” Stephen Colbert said on his CBS show.

“The president is absolutely melting down,” opined ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel.

The hosts were all reacting to what Meyers called a “deeply off the rails” performance by Trump, whose frustrations with House Democrats, a whistleblower’s complaint and the media were on full display as he hosted Finnish President Sauli Niinistö at the White House on Wednesday. But while Trump tangled with reporters and lashed out at his enemies, sparking the trending hashtag “#TrumpMeltdown,” Niinistö’s alternating expressions of surprise and discomfort captivated social media users, who swiftly transformed the foreign leader into the latest meme.

and feel victimized and never feel humiliated. He just knows he is the very best at whatever he does, surely we all know THAT by now? What a disgusting performance in front of a foreign leader. The entire world knows now that tRump is unhinged. They suspected it before, but these last few days, he is amplifying the crazy. I hope that when he is done, he takes Pence, Mother, Rudy, Barr, Pompeo (and his jockstrap) plus all the enablers in the gop. Then we will not have to tolerate Beavis, Butthead and Nipples all over T.V. defending daddy. We can have a celebration rivaling July 4th.

Does Fox ever suggest that any of these rants are wrong or inappropriate? I honestly have no idea, because I don't watch Fox, nor any other broadcast news for the most part, as I don't own a TV and watch on line.

As others have already pointed out, no one around him has ever stood up to him or even given him constructive criticism his entire life.

But for him, no one and nothing is fully real besides himself and how he perceives everything. When he does become aware of criticism he goes off as we've seen over and over again. He would never experience that kind of shame over his behavior. He's simply not capable of it. Toddlers are like that as they haven't yet developed that kind of awareness that they are not the center of everything. That's why he'd invariably likened to a toddler.

What a total embarrassment this dumb evil Doofus is, if he gets to run in 2020 I hope and think he may lose worse than McGovern did to Tricky Dick.

He is so mean and incompetent that his support from GOP TV also known as Fox News is in flux.

I hope sincerely we can get past this horrible time period and some sense of normalcy will come back. But that occurring is no slam dunk.
