(11,738 posts)Cody Johnston has a channel on YouTube "Some More News" which is a news style comedy show. He did an episode on "Draining the Swamp" which talked about the various Trump swamp creatures, but he had some interesting insights on Pence based on the premise of who had the "most to gain" from joining the administration. He highlights Pence's financial desperation and current status which indicate that Pence is not some innocent schmo who got roped into his situation. I think Pence is a stupid ideologue, but he is certainly not the upstanding Christian man he portrays himself to be.

He was broke, no job lined up and under 30,000 in the bank when he was done being governor. He need government housing for mother.
