There was no real news out of this presser either. It was an update on status of legislation that he House has passed and on the Impeachment Inquiry that is being lead by Rep. Schiff.

And, Pelosi DID break news with her recounting that Trump admitted his Ukraine activities on a phone call with her, stating again that his call was "perfect."

If it wasn't Schiff in Pelosi's weekly conference, it would have been something from Morning Joe. His biggest rants were not about what was said today but about what Schiff said during the last Intel Committee meeting.

1. Pelosi's style is to manage for effect, especially for effect with the general public.

2. Schiff is front and center of the impeachment inquiry, because it is focused on national security, which just happens to be an area of Pelosi's expertise and part of the precipitous phone call from Trump to Pelosi.

There was significant news in the press conference and all of it was tied, either directly or indirectly, to Trump.
