Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday appeared to revel in the ongoing political maelstrom in the U.S., jokingly admitting to plans for future election meddling.

When asked if Russia would interfere in the 2020 election cycle, Putin leaned into the microphone on stage and mimicked a whisper: “I’m going to tell you a secret. Yes, sure, we’re going to do that. Don’t tell anybody.” - Politico

For decades here was this shining example to the world of freedom and Democracy, the USA. Our democracy rubbed it in their noses that our way was better, that the people could rule themselves. It drives me crazy that Russia has to be so pleased that they've brought our Democracy to its knees on the world stage.
