“Although she may be racist,” the dog’s owner messaged Guyger.

“It’s okay.. I’m the same,” Guyger responded ...

... The new texts introduced after the verdict showed her mocking black officers working for the Dallas Police Department with her partner, Officer Martin Rivera.

“Damn I was at this area with 5 different black officers !!!” Rivera texted Guyger on March 9, 2018. “Not racist but damn.”

Guyger echoed Rivera and added: “Not racist but just have a different way of working and it shows” ...

6. Admitted She's Racist in Text Messages

... jurors heard prosecutors present text messages from Jan. 15, 2018, as Dallas officers were assigned to the Martin Luther King Jr. parade.

“When does this end lol,” read a text to Guyger, to which she responded, “When MLK is dead… oh wait…”

As the texted conversation turned to the parade attendees, WFAA reports Guyger texted, “Just push them… or spray your pepper spray in that general area” ...

7. Her best friend just took the stand...

Black woman cop who knew her since HS, they worked at TGI Friday’s together then went to college together and ultimately the police. Has an accent, can’t quite place it- Caribbean perhaps? Speaking highly of her.

I think this may nullify the racism charges in jurors minds.
