2. I know there's no use talking about "legality"--

But why on earth would the attorney general and a US atty be "investigating" this? The Mueller team and the FBI were both under the Dept of Justice, and in that case, doesn't an inspector general do the investigation? Or a special counsel?

Will there be any end to this?

The one thing that is clear to me is this is not a crime that happened three years ago. IT'S STILL HAPPENING. And what has allowed that is the earlier obstruction that kept Mueller from getting all the information. So the obstruction, the coverup, is allowing the Russian interference to continue right now.

The collusion is happening right now.

It does sound like the House is getting ramped up and sending out the subpoenas, and saying that refusal to comply could be another impeachment charge (I think this was one of the charges against Nixon... Contempt of Congress. And who helped right the memorandum on all that? A young staffer named Hillary Rodham.)
