WOODWARD complains about impeachment doomed to fail, weak House, but gives no fixes

(Over the years, the godlike pronouncements from both him and BERNSTEIN, like they are the only ones to know how to do things, have worn thin, but that's another topic.) ON EDIT: corrected Senate convicting a "certainty" ----------HAH!1

So WOODWARD thundered at Morning Scabs a lot of what we already know about SHITLER (the many abuses of power), and focused on the negatives about the process.

We know that the Senate's convicting is a near not-happening (ON EDIT, corrected from "near certainty" ) , but his main point was that the House Dems are making it worse by hinging everything just on Ukraine, saying that what would sew everything up conclusively would be a wide scale investigation on the many abuses of power (listed below) and that the House Dems are too weak to carry it all out.

***** The abuses (that we all know) : SHITLER's treating the country and government as his personal property; firing all department heads and keeping Actings in order to control... (more of what we know and complain about daily) .

********But then NO specifics about what the impeachment proceedings should be fixed by.

Then Joe SCABS kissed his ass and the panel proceeded to meander on in their usual blatherings, suddenly talking about vaping.

1. He's always been like this. Carl Bernstein is/always was the more intelligent of the pair...

From a 2013 online article: "Bob Woodward seems so mealy-mouthed, but he might be a genius at saying everything, anything, and nothing." (Ann Althouse)

That line sums it up for me. Not to mention, I just cannot listen to him. His sloooow speaking manner (that seems to exaggerate his mouth movements) drives me nuts.

2. That's an excellent line. As for his dialect, it has always bugged me to hear "rah-porting" for

That's when his "Veil" book was released, and he supposedly got the lobotomized CIA director Bill Casey to admit in his deathbed that he did what he did in Iran-Contra because, in Casey's words, "I believed."

B-U-double-L-shit.

Whenever the Establishment needs the PR gold treatment, it turns to Bob Woodward because he believes in it.

5. Yip, that deathbed/comotose bit was something. No mistake, he & Bern were fine during Watergate.

But afterwards, finding out he had been a semi-spook made me wonder.

instead of just salacious, drama-filled crap, maybe we’d have been at this point earlier and already done with it

lately, that Joe mentions impeachment for Trump and follows that up with a Clinton impeachment story? Every time! Yesterday he babbled about Clinton giving the Chinese rocket information. Huh? Just about time to turn him off again.

Remember the right thing? It's what we're supposed to do. If we get knocked down by the senate, we get knocked down by the senate. We will have done the right thing.

12. Did he actually use the work "weak" to describe House Dems?

He doesn't know, and neither do we, what House Dems are compiling and where it will go. Ukraine was the tipping point but that doesn't mean it stops there regardless of what they've said publicly.

13. He didn't say impeachment reminds him of Watergate?

He's probably going to be hawking his books on cable and telling another generation who he is during the 2020 GE. Claiming at least twice per show that Hillary and "servergate" reminded him of Watergate was the requirement for peddling himself and his books on multiple cable shows all through summer-fall 2016.

How and how badly will he sell the nation out in 2020? The same powers are still fighting to keep government in Republican hands.
