I think the democrats are absolute finished with messing around, even throwing Pompeo's own words back at him for his work in the Benghazi Select Committee, as well as, singling Pompeo out for his conflict of interest in the matter for which they now believe he is working with the president on.

Furthermore, (paraphrasing) if they intimidate witnesses from participating, the committee will infer that that is another act of obstruction of congress.
