Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Delaware

...and Hawaii.

Interesting that there isn't a real Western or Southern connection anywhere on the ticket. (Hawaii may be the furthest west and the furthest south, but it really seems like its own thing.)

When's the last time this happened?

In 2008 we had an Arizonan and an Alaskan.

In 2004 we had a fake Texan, a Wyomingan, and a North Carolinian.

In 2000 we had a fake Texan, a Wyomingan, and a Tennesseean.

In 1996 we had an Arkansan, a Tennesseean, a Kansan, and a Californian.

In 1992 we had an Arkansan, a Tennesseean, a part-time Texan, and a real Texan.

In 1988 we had a part-time Texan and a real Texan.

In 1984 we had a Californian and a part-time Texan.

In 1980 we had a Californian, a part-time Texan, and a Georgian.

In 1976 we had a Georgian.

In 1972 we had a Californian and a South Dakotan.

In 1968 we had a Californian and, um, an Alabaman.

In 1964 we had a Texan and an Arizonan.

In 1960 we had a Texan and a Californian.

In 1956 we had a Californian and a Tennesseean.

In 1952 we had a Californian and an Alabaman.

In 1948 we had a Missourian, a Kentuckian, a Californian, a South Carolinian, and a Mississippian.

In 1944 we had a Missourian.

In 1940 we had an Oregonian.

In 1936 we had a Texan and a Kansan.

In 1932 we had a Texan, a nominal Californian, and a Kansan.

In 1928 we had a nominal Californian, a Kansan, and an Arkansan.

In 1924 we had a West Virginian, a Nebraskan, and a Montanan.

FINALLY, in 1920 we had two Ohioans, a Massachusettsian, and a New Yorker.

You have to go back 92 years to find a presidential race so heavily stacked towards the Midwest and the Northeast.

to the Dem incumbent's favor-- but given our nation is chock full of bigots.. it definitely doesn't work
in Obama's favor.

Millions of people are going to vote not so much for Rmoney, but against Obama. the propaganda
worked.

all the evidence you need is to look at what happened in Wisconsin recently.. and how the GOP won
several governor's seats in 2010.
