Alexander,
Last night, I joined Chris Cuomo to talk about the whistleblower complaint we received this week alleging that the President has used American foreign policy to advance his personal interests and help his re-election campaign.
The events of this week have been deeply troubling to many of us. But theyve also shown that our system can still work the way its supposed to. We know what we know today because someone stepped forward to report what they believed was a serious threat to our national security. That would never happen in a place like Russia but it happened here because we have a system that ensures no one is above the law.
Throughout this process, Ive been entirely focused on finding the facts and following them wherever they may lead. Thats why I fully support the House Intelligence Committee inquiry that is now underway, and Im confident they will get us the facts and evidence so we know exactly what happened and how we should proceed.
My approach to this inquiry will never be about partisanship. This is about finding the facts, upholding the law, and protecting our national security.

(32,722 posts)I believe the only reason he hesitated earlier is that he wanted to see the evidence, and hear the testimony before he fully committed. I was always confident that he would join the pro-impeachment group once he saw the case against Chump.
