You know what is the most insane thing about Trump's criminal gambit?

None of the dirt he wanted exists!
It all comes from right wing conspiracy fantasies and has no basis in reality.

Biden's son was investigated years ago and it was determined that there was no irregular activity at all.
Crowdstrike, who discovered the DNC hack, has been monitoring Russian hackers for years.
He could never come up with any information that Crowdstrike and the DNC faked the Russian hack because they didn't.

The fool has destroyed himself running after an imaginary shadow.
Just like Obama's birth certificate and global warming, Trump believes all the stupidest conspiracy theories.

He's the president. If he thought there was a problem with anyone anywhere in the world he could just tell the CIA to find out about it and in a short time be handed a full, accurate report. The fact he ignores all the power he has at his fingertips and sends his idiot private lawyer to investigate is just insane.

But that's the way he swings.

He is truly a total moronic imbecile and should be institutionalized away from the general public.

I don't think Trump ever believed most of the conspiracy theories, he promoted them for political advantage. I am quite sure Trump knew that Obama was born in Hawaii, but spreading false rumors was what he'd done for decades as a businessman. He likes the drama and chaos it causes.

He didn't want the Ukrainians to FIND a Biden scandal, he wanted them to create one. Apparently Trump thinks everyone is as dishonest and conniving as he is.

almost everything trump has done on major issues might as well have come out of limbo's ass

talk radio is the only major medium with no free speech challenge. fox has to pretend to be 'balanced' and people have quick free easy alternatives a click away. liberals watch it, monitor it and like here, talk about it. there are always a few contrary opinions, even if token.

talk radio is what the russians have been feeding for 10 years

sam nunberg says he listened to "1000s of hours of talk radio" for trump in 2014 and dickhead was getting 'reports'. wtf would cheapskate trump pay a semi-lawyer to listen to talk radio?

that's how they coordinated with the russians right under our noses. kremlin feeds limbaugh maybe through solomon or breitbart or corsi, etc who feeds 1500 radio stations.

everything trump does comes out of limbaugh's ass, his friend and neighbor in FL

one of her major political parties create their own alternate reality stories and promote massive public media campaigns to promote them to numerous politicians and public/social media outlets. Even some of W's operatives admitted they do that regularly with no remorse.

I suspect most of these fictitious stories are created by a few central figures, perhaps working for right-wing think tanks or right-wing media corporations such as Fox or Sinclair Broadcasting. Those talking point memos are then emailed to hundreds of government and media recipients each day (just like the talking point memo that was erroneously sent to Democrats early this week).

It's easy enough to do when you have no morals and these lies can be highly effective....

& that they would give that to them is the really crazy part! But republicans seem to have a habit of doing that. Remember in 2012 when Ryan was Romney's running mate & he tried to say that Obama cut medicare funding? Obama didn't do that but republicans did try to do that! And when Bill Clinton spoke at the convention he said it takes brass [balls] to accuse the other side of doing something that you did!

Nicolle Wallace just showed a comment from Chris Wallace on Fox today who said there was a lot of bad, credible evidence in the whistleblower's report. And to argue in support of Trump is trying to make nothing out of something!

After Watergate, especially when Ford gave Nixon a pardon, there was a lot of mistrust of people in government & especially republicans! I've always thought that was the main reason why Carter was elected because he seemed like such an honest person. People just wanted someone they could believe in again. Of course after he was elected, he did seem to be skilled in diplomacy but I thought it was his honesty that got him elected.

Fri Sep 27, 2019, 11:54 PM
Sep 2019

I believe that Trump did not withhold military aid to Ukraine in order to pressure the Ukrainian govt to investigate Hunter Biden. I think he withheld the military aid as part of his cozy relationship with Putin, since the military aid was supposed to be used against Russian invaders. It was only fortuitous that Trump thought he could additionally squeeze a favor from the Ukraine govt.

And Trump probably didn't expect that an investigation would actually reveal dirt about Hunter Biden, but he hoped that Ukraine would be so desperate to please him and get the military aid he was blocking that the Ukrainians would falsify some dirt simply to gratify Trump. After all, Trump is and has been quite willing to use false assertions in the place of facts.

He was told several times that it was debunked long before but he still pressed for more info on it.
Why would he demand info on something he knew was impossible?

Because he thought it would force the Ukrainians to create false information in order to please him.
If they came up with something he could use it against Biden and when it was shown to be false he could blame the Ukrainians.
That way he could get his invented dirt and not take the blame when it was exposed.

That's how he gets away with everything.
He is expert at always getting others to take the fall for his own crimes.
