It's the season for countdowns.

Baseball has the wild card positions being settled.

Nascar has the Chase for the Cup.

NHRA has their countdown to the championship.

America has the House just 7 votes short of impeachment.

Carly Simon's "Anticipation" is softly playing in the background.

It was 100 here today! The hottest September 25 since 1963. Thankfully, it's cooling off in the next few days.

It is no coincidence that this happened so close to the Autumn Solstice (equal time between light and darkness on Earth) and in September - Libra - the scales of Justice.
