You already know your fellow television viewers are misinformed.

Television works by instilling a sense of emptiness.

I need a new car. I need a new medicine. I need a new insurance company. I need a new politician.

Corporations and oligarchs pay television to do that.

Fuck that.

I read all my news. I frequently crosscheck the news I read against other sources. I know the biases of my news sources.

My wife and I don't watch any traditional television. We don't get cable, satellite, or broadcast television. Our TV is a movie player, it plays Netflix and DVDs, that's all it does.

We never see commercials, we never see Trump, we never suffer the emptiness.
