Of course, at this point we need another Special Counsel. But I doubt we'll ever get one.

Why? Because that power rests in the DOJ and ain’t no way Bill Barr gonna appoint shit at this point.

Thing was, we got Mueller thanks to the one and only good thing Sessions ever did in his otherwise pathetic life...he stepped aside.

Then we got Rosenstein. Unfortunately Rosenstein seems to have been a weak-willed company man when he had people looking over him, but I don’t think he had any love at all for Trump and was more than happy to appoint Mueller to do the special counsel job. And when Rosenstein was running the show, he was more than happy to let Mueller do his thing.

But then Barr got appointed, and Rosenstein folded like a coward and went back into his corner because he was afraid of being the next McCabe.

Now the question if it were ever possible, who would that second special counsel be?

Right now, Mueller is probably fishing or golfing or playing with model trains or doing whatever people like to do when they have worked all their life and don’t have to handle a massive investigation of the executive branch. And that’s fine.

Plus some of you got annoyed when Mueller actually spoke and he wasn’t all razzle-dazzle. Which was a stupid take—Mueller did fine, but whatever.

I’d love to see someone similar to Barry Berke who demolished Lewandowski before Congress this week.

But right now the notion of a second special counsel is beyond a hypothetical. It’s a fairy tale. It’s how many angels can fit on the tip of a pin.

All we have is one-half of Congress and our own voices and votes. Which hopefully won’t be interfered with.

Again.

You really nailed this with your theory yesterday. If your entire theory is correct, there is still one more shoe to drop. Congratulations, that was tremendous.
