I can see a scenario where all of Trumps mistakes, all his stupid decisions, all his incompetence, the American peoples great slumber, the mental defect of millions of Trump voters, comes down upon us all at once and kicks our asses.

I mean really, how else does madness end? Can all this madness end with an election? Maybe, but I wouldn't bet on it.
