(31,261 posts)Those that have it can hire expensive Attornies, a guy who has to hit a bakery for $50 can't. Sad but true.
I for one agree mostly with Huffman's sentence, though I believe the Judge should have fined her $50,000-$100,000, her and her husband are both multi-millionaires, she can afford a $100,000 penalty.

(1,265 posts)Im not sure if it can ever become again what I thought it was when I was a child (just turned 69). I remember as child feeling proud that I was fortunate enough to have been born in such a great nation. A single income could support a family, health care was available and you didnt get raped (figuratively) for daring to go to the doctor, a completely different way of life than today.
Republicans have turned the place into a third world shit hole and it makes me sick.
