1. Our criminal justice system is about wealth.

Those that have it can hire expensive Attornies, a guy who has to hit a bakery for $50 can't. Sad but true.


I for one agree mostly with Huffman's sentence, though I believe the Judge should have fined her $50,000-$100,000, her and her husband are both multi-millionaires, she can afford a $100,000 penalty.

4. Our nation is so effed up

I’m not sure if it can ever become again what I thought it was when I was a child (just turned 69). I remember as child feeling proud that I was fortunate enough to have been born in such a great nation. A single income could support a family, health care was available and you didn’t get raped (figuratively) for daring to go to the doctor, a completely different way of life than today.

Republicans have turned the place into a third world shit hole and it makes me sick.

5. Crystal Mason may be getting FIVE years in prison for a provisional vote

she was told she could make by federal authorities.

She is a single mom with children trying to get her life on track by taking classes. Now this.

But unlike Felicity, Ms. Mason is not wealthy, a celebrity or white.

FIVE YEARS IN PRISON FOR VOTING.
Where is the fairness in this ?
Rapists, wife beaters and drug dealers serve less time than she might.

She has set up a go-fund me account.

When the candidates talk about criminal justice reform, this is EXACTLY what they're talking about.
