Sorry it's a hoax, not Hurricane Isaac

Hurricane Isaac moves back out to sea after battering Louisiana and leaving 165,000 homes without power... as state prepares for ANOTHER landfall

After reaching Louisiana late Tuesday evening, Hurricane Isaac moved back out to sea - only to return to Louisiana shores around 2 am...

I have never heard of this...a TWO-punch Hurricane? I don't care how 'small' it is...that's just weird....

It happens in Florida too
Hurricanes have hit on the lower tip of the peninsula,(or on the atlantic side)..and then wobbled out over water, regained strength, hit the gulf side with a glancing blow, wobbled out again & then slammed into the panhandle..

If Louisiana had a healthy ecosystem in their lower wetlands, there might have been enough "land" to hold it onshore

The storm briefly moved across the far southern section of Louisana...a small sliver of land before it made a right turn a few miles further to the west and then inland. Currently what's left of the storm is giving a much needed dousing to St. Louis and looks like it'll be in Chicago and Indianapolis later tonight...

Didn't Isaac just sit off the coast and beat up Louisiana earlier in the week...it did come back out a little and then move back in...but this is old news?

Just came in, opened DU for the latest news before watching the local news. I am in such a state of overload, I really can't listen to my local reporters any more this week. Last I heard before I went to sleep last night was we were in the clear so this scared me!
