that was presided over by the loathsome Scott Spicer and the even more loathsome Sarah Sanders, I don't think we're missing much.

I really think the helicopter is his aides idea some he can vent in public and it takes some of the heat off of them.

He would do the same thing now and then to seem like a man of action, off to do the nation's business.

But, everyone knows The Candy Corn Skidmark is headed for his golf course or KFC.

Like everything King Scat Midas touches it went to craps. He has overdone it.

I keep expecting him to appoint the helicopter as his new press secretary.

In front of a noisy copter/generator. Act like you are being whisked away to an important meeting ( i.e. golf). Place the mics strategically so public can't hear question. Then bullshit on whatever the hell you want.

Exactly what he wants.. zero worry about speaking crazy talk. He has neutered the media.

And the saddest part of all...the press doesn't even report about it. That trump has emptied the WH press corps!

they call those things)...then I saw him actually get on the copter and they weren't moving! Thought I was on to breaking news LOL...but someone corrected me.. said it's an auxiliary generator to keep the power on.

Nevertheless, why is that the ONLY time he can speak? If the press doesn't have the balls to not show up they should at least all move to the quiet side of the WH and stand there and see if he comes

White House Correspondent's Association was originally the authority that guaranteed access. It ceded that authority some decades ago...............HUGE MISTAKE.

WH reporters have no protections, unlike reporters covering Congress who have their access guaranteed by the standing rules of the Gallery.

This WH has attacked the 1st Amendment right of the American people to question their president, by credentialing stooges and shills and even giving White Nationalist sympathizers entry -- in order to dilute the power of the press.

It is all premeditated. A seasoned and established reporter would be on the air immediately after saying "I asked X, and he answered Y.". He wants the question silenced so he can riff about whatever.

With his hourly ball up in the air, the real story is hidden. And we let him get away with it.

https://www.cjr.org/the_media_today/white-house-press-passes.php

IN WHAT APPEARS TO BE an unprecedented move, the White House revoked the press passes of a significant chunk of the Washington press corps because they didn’t meet a new standard, according to Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank. Under the new rules, rolled out earlier this year, in order to qualify for the highest level of access—known as a “hard pass”—journalists had to be present in the White House for at least 90 days out of a 180-day period. According to Milbank, virtually the entire press corps failed to meet this new test, including all six of the Post’s White House correspondents.
