Earlier today I watched a panel discussion on MSNBC.
One member of a three-person panel kept referring to the prime minister of United Kingdom as Boris Yeltsin.
(The U.K. prime minister's name is actually Boris Johnson)
Boris Yeltsin was the first President of the Russian Federation from 1991 to 1999.
No member of the panel nor the host, Steve Kornacki, corrected the error.
Oh well .....................

(20,254 posts)We had a chit chat about the U of B. The 'park' and the upper level view you told me about. Geez, it's been at least fifty years since I left an impression on that place....😇
And you got some good 'chops'. 🎶

(14,988 posts)I fully support his right to choose his own name, and change his name if necessary to achieve that outcome.
But since he has not yet done so, nor attempted to do so only to be unjustly denied the right by some injustice, let us call Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson.
