Any "Civil War" over new gun laws will mean local gun owners killing each other
Civil War? Does anyone think the gun lovers in, say, the Deep South are going to declare war on California, New York and other bastions of liberalism if and when new gun laws are passed?
First off - how are they going to get to California with their car repo-ed or - at best - up on blocks in the front yard? Doubt they’re mobilizing anywhere soon.
No, what will sadly happen is that their hatred and anger will be turned on their neighbors, their friends and their immediate families, the same way it happens now, when some gun-lover shoots up the local high school/post office/church/fill in the blank. They may cross state lines to purchase their AR-15, but their victims are usually locals.
Maybe that’s what Rs really fear about any “civil war” they’re dreaming up in the RW fever swamps.
