Trump's so insecure he needs a nameplate: "The President"

LOL What a loser!

He actually has a folded paper sign in front of him at this hurricane presser to remind everyone who he is. Maybe he's not so sure he's still the president?

It's the same country that requires its public school kids to recite a pledge to its flag every morning, in case they had forgotten what country they were from during the previous night (short term memory loss must be more prevalent in the USA than has been previously assumed).

When my elder daughter went over to the USA for her "semester abroad" of high school (German schools encourage their high school students to study for one year in another country--ANY country where they speak something other than German), she chose the USA. After all, she was half American herself, and had never really lived there, just been there for brief vacations. She mostly adjusted OK, but was completely confused the Pledge of Allegiance (she first thought they were saying "I spread the peaches" ), and could not fathom why such a thing was necessary ("do they really not know where they are?"**). She noted (correctly) that in Germany they did no such thing, since everyone in her school knew perfectly well where they were, where they came from, and to what country they owed allegiance.

If Trump needs to remind himself, or anyone else of the position he has dubiously assumed for the last two and a half years, well I guess that should come as no surprise. I wouldn't be shocked to hear that he needs help tying his shoe laces in the morning, either.

**Come to think of it, considering the amount of drugs she said those kids were doing, some of them may indeed truly NOT have known where they were the next morning!
