(1,385 posts)Is preparing to send aid, they will need it as this monster will sit over them for 24 hours. Generally airports are back in operation within hours of a hurricane hit.... then again the Bahamas is mostly at or just above sea level, very flat...hopefully the landing strips survive, so a fleet of choppers can deliver medical & other aid.
