Do Democrats focus too much on Trump and not enough on the Senate Republicans ?

After all, it is Mitch McConnell and the Republicans that are blocking everything from the House.

As much, or more than Trump, it is Mitch McConnell and the Republicans that are selling our democracy down the river. It is they that are threatening our economy and our leadership in the world.

It is they that are refusing to govern.

It is they that refuse to uphold our Constitution and our rule of law.

It is they also, that need to be removed from public office. It is not just Donald Trump.

The American people need to understand that the Republicans have no ideas and no plans on fixing the problems facing this country.

Yes all republicans who do not openly denounce rump are traitors and are clearly working against America and the planet.

How do we remove any of them, let alone rump? Other than elections?

I wish someone like Steyer and others like him would give BILLIONS to ANY person with a D after their name like who is running against McConnell.

You are right that without their support he is nothing and they get their support from your and my neighbor, cousin, etc...those people are working against the country just as much.

Tons of money will go into 4-5 Senate seats that we can flip.

of a very bad coin.

I hope that the House will choose the Constitution and rule of law, regardless of the lawlessness and corruption of others.

what's happening in Kentucky.

Yes, in some ways Moscow Mitch has more power than the President, and we should come up with ways to reduce that power as we did with the Speaker's powers years ago. But, there is little we outside of Kentucky can do besides send money and good wishes.

But here's an idea-- what if some Democrats slowed down on trying to replace moderate Democrats, and used their energy to dispose of the worst Republicans?

The Democrats have to put lots of public attention on the level of obstruction from republicans in the Senate. 2020 isn't an either (president) or (Senate) issue. It is both.

It cannot be "an either (president) or (Senate) issue. It is both."

Mitch McConnell has been the most destructive Senate Leader in my lifetime. Republicans are interested in nothing but holding onto power.

McConnell is among the very worst politicians of our lifetimes. I am definitely going to support the effort to remove him. Just a horrible human being.

on Senate thugs in the national conversation because we can all rest assured that Dem voters in each state are keenly focused on their thug senators and are fighting those fights at home.

I'm glad Hickenloooper dropped out & is considering challenging Gardner.

Someone on DU had a great idea for an ad campaign against the turtle. Portray McConnell as the Grim Reaper in a cemetery & on the tombstones put the names of the various bills the House has passed that he has refused to put to the floor.

Our side doesn't do nearly enough marketing.
