NYT: drumpf operatives to go to war against media.........

This is.................... Hitler. nothing less than Hitler.

The message is clear: Either you wave pom-poms for dear leader, or we expose every opinion of your life to the same crowd that is committing all the mass murders in drumpf name. This isn't "information," it is a threat on all their lives.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/25/us/politics/trump-allies-news-media.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share

WASHINGTON — A loose network of conservative operatives allied with the White House is pursuing what they say will be an aggressive operation to discredit news organizations deemed hostile to President Trump by publicizing damaging information about journalists.

It is the latest step in a long-running effort by Mr. Trump and his allies to undercut the influence of legitimate news reporting. Four people familiar with the operation described how it works, asserting that it has compiled dossiers of potentially embarrassing social media posts and other public statements by hundreds of people who work at some of the country’s most prominent news organizations.

The group has already released information about journalists at CNN, The Washington Post and The New York Times — three outlets that have aggressively investigated Mr. Trump — in response to reporting or commentary that the White House’s allies consider unfair to Mr. Trump and his team or harmful to his re-election prospects.

Operatives have closely examined more than a decade’s worth of public posts and statements by journalists, the people familiar with the operation said. Only a fraction of what the network claims to have uncovered has been made public, the people said, with more to be disclosed as the 2020 election heats up. The research is said to extend to members of journalists’ families who are active in politics, as well as liberal activists and other political opponents of the president.

The media has the weapon to stifle this attack. Simply don't give them any airtime or ink. Don't post about the attacks, don't repeat what is said. None of what I saw in that article is newsworthy.

None of the journalists being attacked are running for public office. None of them are issuing Executive Orders. It's not hypocritical for them to report the truth.

it's time to go on offense and destroy the talk radio monopoly - it would be surprisingly easy - just force the ad industry to finally apply market demand for the lies hate and ignorance

artificial intelligence makes it easy to digitize talk radio so it can be searched and monitored and read and responded to - it doesn't have to be invisible anymore, there's no excuse for ignoring it. as soon as the ad industry sees serious action - monitoring, boycotts, protests - it's going to have to ask radio advertisers if they really want to support trump, racism, global warming, etc - instead of bundling onto those stations

it has always been a primary weapon for attacking the 'liberal' and 'democrat' media and that would monkey wrench their plans in all aspects of their stragegies

It's not the present stories that bother him so much. It is the stories that are to come in the future. He knows they are coming and he knows the press is going to report them. He's attempting to immunize himself for the big bombshells ahead. If he begins now, perhaps his followers won't believe any of them?

The 5 United States Supreme Court Justices serve t-rump and RWers. Not the country.

The unqualified nut cases have been appointed to Appeals courts. They serve t-rump and RWers. Not the country.

t-rump's allies have been gathering dirt on journalists that they feel that are not loyal the t-rump. And most of the dirt is probably made up bullshit.

We would like to think that we get to the 2020 elections, maybe with a grueling year of bickering and confusion, but then, we win and move on. That would be nice.

However, there is The Emboldening to reckon with. Tramp has fired up enough people and inspired them to ramp it up and keep it going. That means there is a momentum and that is something to be concerned about. In that case, next year is going to be a tenuous ride through some very dangerous and rough territory that could be more chaotic than we imagine.

You know, if I keep seeing signs of that from the Tramp supporters, I am not going to refer to them as Republicans much longer because, as we hear the goosestepping grow louder, the only word that will fit correctly is Fascists, unless someone has a better term. That stuff is not about a legitimate opposing party anymore and if the followers are going to utilize those kinds of tactics then we have a BIG problem Houston.

Yes, I know this is a third-party operation, but then, it is up to the Republicans not only to disavow it or distance themselves from it, but to do something to nip it in the bud. I will be watching.
