As noted by CNN fact checker Daniel Dale, Trump was asked by a reporter in New Hampshire this week to describe his health care plan, and the president responded with a stream of gobbledygook.
So, we have a great plan coming out, the president began when asked about his plan. Its going to be if we can take back the House because were not going to get the Democrats to vote for it, because theyre doing Medicare for all, which is going to take away your freedom, take away your doctors, take away everything that you should be able to have, and most importantly, its going to take away we have 180 million people right now that have private insurance and they love it, and all of thats going to be taken away. Its absolute craziness.
On top of everything else, theyre looking at 80, 90, 95 percent tax, because theres no theres no way they can afford it, he said. But people dont want to go to a hospital, to go to a doctor. They dont want to go. They want to have their own doctor, number one, and we went through this with Obamacare, which we got rid of the individual mandate, by the way, which is very important.
After all this, the president finally pivoted back to talking about his own health care plan, but he offered zero details about what it would contain.
But we have a great health care plan, he said. If we get the House, we hold the Senate, we keep the presidency, were going to have great health care, much better than Obamacare, at much less cost.

(82,849 posts)Uncanny, the collective amnesia of Trump's supporters, though I guess they're pretty practiced by now at screening out contrarian thoughts. What's really weird is how the folks reporting on these empty boasts don't remember, either.

Of course after ten years the Republicans have nothing beyond more cuts to Obamacare. At very best, Trump will propose private medical accounts, where one socks tax free money away to pay for that first heart attack.
Republicans say this because they think we're as stupid as their voters.

He's been doing this for years, then screws them over ,and makes excuses others are always to blame for not doing what he said he would. Just ask his past bankers, the coal miners, auto workers, the farmers, and the list goes on and on. It's just another con , and lie from this career criminal. This guy thinks he can con anyone to believe anything

We don't have a healthcare system, we have a healtcare industry. The ACA provided some minor regulations and improvements, but it's still controlled by the corporatists.
The Repub plan is to cut us all loose to find our own way. You know, freedumb.
