Trump wants to buy Greenland because he thinks global warming will be good

Republican dumbshits and pirates see global warming as an opportunity to get at natural resources exposed by the melting. Someone's gotten into his head there's maybe lots of gold under there waiting for him.

At some level that is one reason why they have been delaying action on global warming for many years, too stupid to realize the actual consequences.

I can sort of understand buying a US bond paying less than expected inflation, wanting extreme safety. But why can’t the bank just put their money in their vault and wait? Why lend it out at a guaranteed loss?

and I don't understand it either why a private bank is operating with a guaranteed loss,
but may be it is cheaper than laying off staff because employers have to pay large unemployment checks to laid off employees in some European countries.

I have seen that happen first hand when my employer owned an outfit in Belgium and when business was slow in Belgium, it cost them a fortune to lay off workers.

And who the hell does he think is going to pay for this so that some fat-cat oligarchs can get rich off the spoils?

the benefits of global warming.

the strategy, for those who think for and manipulate this fucking idiot, is to deny it and delay action until it becomes such an emergency that the MIC's major contractors can force centralized tax payer funded solutions like nuclear, chemicals/metallic flakes in the ocean and space, etc or whatever they fuck they can sell to idiot republican politicians and frightened talk radio state con democrats.

so they tell him to resist and deny and they can get at that GOLD! or whatever else it is they think he wants. maybe frozen viking high school girls he can melt and reanimate

and the greenland ice melting rates are based on records/trends that apply only to natural changes.

they don't apply anymore, as many people may have noticed with the loss of accuracy of everyday meteorological forecasting in many places, even with AI and other increased computing power, which are applied to defunct mode=ling
