Trump spreading conspiracy theory suggesting Bill Clinton murdered Jeffrey Epstein

President Donald Trump is spreading a right-wing conspiracy theory suggesting former President Bill Clinton murdered Jeffrey Epstein.

From his golf vacation at his Bedminster Club, Trump retweeted Terrence K. Williams, who asked people to retweet his message if they agreed and were not surprised by his contention that Clinton had Epstein killed.

“#JefferyEpstein had information on Bill Clinton & now he’s dead,” Williams said. “I see #TrumpBodyCount trending but we know who did this! [Retweet] if you’re not surprised.”

Nothing Trump does is without purpose. It's either denial, deflection or distraction, or possibly, in this case, as in many others, all three. There's little benefit for him to engage in just gratuitous Clinton slurring

That's pretty much held true thus far on every other topic. Of course, between Trump and Barr, there is no way for the DOJ/FBI to properly investigate the matter with any semblance of credibility.

to this day:

During a cabinet meeting on Thursday, President Trump sought to blame Democrats for the humanitarian crisis he created with his family separation policy, going so far as to accuse Democrats of “creat[ing] a massive child smuggling industry.”

“The people are suffering because of the Democrats,” Trump said. “So, we’ve created, and they’ve created, and they’ve let it happen — a massive child smuggling industry. That’s exactly what it has become.”

The king of projection clued us in on the real reason for separating thousands of kids. He tweeted similar accusations as well.

The logical assumption would be that if the Clintons were the murderous thugs the Trumps claim they are, they would have greased Fat Donnie about a week after he took the lead in the GOP primary race. Since they didn't, there are only two logical conclusions we can make: that the Clintons are really bad at murdering people, or they don't murder anyone.

Of course it's silly but you left out one logical conclusion - they didn't expect Trump to win. Even if there was some insane chance all this was true, why in the hell would the Clintons risk everything to kill a candidate they assumed they could easily beat in the general election? Especially if it meant the GOP would just turn around and nominate someone that could theoretically be more difficult to beat.

The general feeling by everyone in 2015 was that if the GOP nominated Trump, they would be writing their own obituary. Well...
