You put a person in a cell... with minimal clothes that rip (paper works)... no toothbrush ( and you can't tell me that this would offend the DOJ after what they are doing to the people at the border ), nothing much else (no sheets, no toilet paper, no soap) and you place a guard right outside the cell (mesh bars please or 8" pexiglass for a door)... and if the guard sees anything he or she can enter right away and stop whatever...

Anything the prisoner needs, the guards provide.

He was NOT released on bail. All you're really doing here is confirming how well-known the suicide risk is. A pedophile in custody ought not have the means available to commit suicide. Of course you can't stop someone from hitting their head against the wall but unless he committed suicide by self-inflicted blunt force trauma (almost impossible to pull off) ... you're FULL OF SHIT.
