Meanwhile, on the Queen's Balmoral estate, Prince Andrew is paying a visit that was not preannounced

to the press.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson staying at Balmoral with The Queen

The Duke of York and his ex-wife, Sarah, Duchess of York, are staying at Balmoral Castle for a short holiday with The Queen.

In a further sign that Her Majesty has accepted Sarah back into the family, she and Prince Andrew are expected to stay in the Scottish residence for a week or so.

BREAKING: Jeffrey Epstein dead
Convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has died in prison.

According to the BBC, the disgraced financier killed himself in his Manhattan cell just a few hours after new court documents were opened.

snip===================================================================

The Epstein case has long lingered over the Duke of York who had been named in court documents relating to the case. Prince Andrew has denied any wrongdoing in the strongest possible terms.

Buckingham Palace issued a strongly worded statement in 2015 denying that the Duke had undertaken any wrongdoing.

Epstein was sentenced in 2008 to eighteen months in prison after he pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Prince Andrew has been heavily scrutinised for his friendship with Epstein. The pair were photographed together in 2010 after the billionaire had served his prison sentence.

The Balmoral estate, located within a national park in Scotland, is privately owned by the Queen and covers an area of about 50,000 acres. In addition to its castle, there are several other estate houses and lodges.

There is no public access in August, when the Queen is in residence.

toe-sucking photos unexpectedly turned up on the front pages of the Sunday papers.

In August 1992, surreptitiously taken photographs of the Duchess sunbathing topless with John Bryan, an American financial manager, were published in the British tabloid Daily Mirror. The Duchess endured widespread public ridicule contributing to her further estrangement from the British royal family.

A “visit that was not preannounced to the press” as if there’s a consistent stream of information on the whereabouts of various persons who will not be monarch.

Where were his last several moves over the past month published?

But in order to “hide out”, they announce he’s there.

It was over the course of several days and was in the press but didn't get a lot of play, no real insight from them on it other than he was a guest at the Christel DeHaan compound, and met with Tony George of the Motor Speedway, and there was an indication of something at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Just always seemed glossed over to me, but I don't run in any of those circles. Seemed like a definite insider visit. Maybe just a charity deal... That could always be a good cover too.

with wayward members, even in modern times.

From Prince Albert Eddy, grandson of Victoria and rumored to be a Ripper suspect, who died mysteriously while under the care of the Queen's personal physician, his symptoms being remarkably like those of poisoning.

to the Duke of Kent, the very handsome, cocaine sniffing, bisexual brother of King George VI who died in a plane crash,

to Prince Philip's uncle the Earl of Mountbatten (blown up while on a small fishing boat in Ireland one quiet Sunday) who had infuriated the members of the House of Windsor when he was overhead crowing that after Elizabeth, the Mountbatten family would be sitting on the throne of England,

to the poor Diana who died a violent death under such troubling circumstances.

It makes sense that those in the world who still hold crowns do so in part because they are ruthless.

I'd watch my back if I were Randy Andy.

The IRA killed Mountbatten and claimed responsibility for it. We know who set the bomb, why and how.

Are you seriously suggesting the Queen was running the Irish Republican Army?

There is no shit too stupid to be posted here.

royal family in modern times, the king who abdicated, later called the Duke of Windsor, lived out his life in exile. Not to mention the probably even more hated Duchess of Windsor, the former Wallis Simpson, likewise.

I don't know that it's fair to assume that everyone 'named' by any of his victims was necessarily guilty of horrible crimes.

The young victim, Ms. Giuffre, who named Prince Andrew as one of the famous people she 'slept with' (among others) ... began 'working' for Epstein at the age of 17 and continued doing so for 4 or 5 years IIRC from Julie Brown's articles from last November.

I'm not quite ready to assume that everyone she named knew exactly what was going on with this lech Epstein, or that they necessarily broke the laws of the land where the events transpired. 17 is the age of consent in many locales, including NY state, and I don't know that she's even claimed to sleeping with him while still a minor.

They MAY HAVE, don't get me wrong ... but I'm reserving judgement in some cases, and Prince Andrew is one of those cases, for the time being.

Just saying.
