(10,171 posts)Had sex with Epstein's victims. It is just so obvious. The timing works and why would Traitor Trump even consider marrying her? They broke up before. She has dirt on him.
And it is something that fits like a glove into Traitor Trump's psychothopy.

(5,269 posts)Instead of base dwelling on Trump's horrible behavior and poor performance in WH, anything negative about Clintons serves to reassure the base that as bad as Trump is that it would have been worse to let Clintons back in WH.

(34,857 posts)Were you on DU when the story broke? The first reaction from some here was to blame Trump. When Epstein first attempted suicide, it was the same thing.
If you want to get a glimpse of the mindset that feeds these conspiracy theories...look at DU. We're doing exactly the same thing the right is on this...just swap out Clinton for Trump.

(16,387 posts)I cant take anything this admin says or does at face value. If you can, your life is a lot more peaceful than mine these days.
It doesnt necessarily mean that Epstein was whacked by some entity, it just means I cant get to a level of trust where I can accept this at face value right now.
Drunken Irishman
(34,857 posts)Literally everything is the same...just Trump swapped for Clinton over on freerepublic. What's interesting is that DUers can't seem to wrap their minds around the idea of Q and other conspiracies but yet easily peddle their own. Look at how quick we are to point fingers. Why aren't we surprised ideologically different people are doing the exact same thing?
BannonsLiver
(16,387 posts)I guess Im also not really understanding your point. Because people find Q nuts they cant ever ask questions about other things?
Drunken Irishman
(34,857 posts)They just shouldn't get upset when others ask questions that don't conform to their little conspiracy theory. It's a slippery slope. You can't start believing in one theory and completely ignore, or get upset, over another just because you don't like it. If you're that woke to go down the conspiracy rabbit hole, you've essentially negated any chance to criticize others who have, as well, but choose a different narrative than you have.

(16,387 posts)To me, jailhouse murders are more plausible than vast conspiracies involving an all knowing, omnipresent being like Q who is secretly pulling the strings to our government.
So given that, it doesnt make a lot of sense to lump all little conspiracy theories together, which you seem to have done.
Drunken Irishman
(34,857 posts)If you believe it's Trump - then you're no different than those who believe it was Clinton. At that point, it becomes a conspiracy. The thing is, it's not being sold that way by many on DU. It's being sold as Trump trying to hide the evidence - just as it's being sold on the right about Clinton.

(13,058 posts)involved with many powerful people on both sides of the political false, as well as prominent foreigners. I don't believe that the Clinton's were involved, but I don't think we should jump to any conclusions one way or the other. But I do think we need a fair and unbiased investigation, which the Trump Justice Department is obviously incapable of carrying out
. So we need a special prosecutor agreed to by all sides to look into this. And then let the chips fall where they may. The American people deserve answers.

(34,857 posts)So, if you're going to make it about Trump you gotta work harder because right now the most supported conspiracy is that the Clintons were involved.

(34,857 posts)If it's a conspiracy, you better change it because you can't bitch about it being about the Clintons if you're trying to make it about Trump.

(28,749 posts)No worries, its not a big deal and my post here on DU will have zero impact.

(34,857 posts)It's the Russians!
But no - it was being peddled by famous, US-led conspiracy theorists before that. The problem is that most of the apolitical conspiracy theorists are latching onto the idea it was the Clintons - not Trump. It's a narrative that is certainly being pushed by Russian bots but it wasn't started by Russian bots. See: Lynne Patton of HUD who pushed it on her Instagram account.

(13,058 posts)source of evil in this word. There are plenty of other powerful and prominent actors who could stand to benefit from his death just as much as Trump would.

(13,058 posts)But meanwhile the freepers and other right wingers are sure that the Clinton's have blood on their hands. What we need is a fair and unbiased investigation by a special prosecutor agreed to by all sides, assuming we can find someone like that.

(62,444 posts)The goal of the Russians is to amplify divisions. People seem to ignore that false narratives which appeal to EITHER side are promoted in order to amplify conflict.
