Epstein's death is pretty much irrelevant, actually

He wasn’t facing the death penalty but would have certainly gotten life in prison. I couldn’t see a prosecutor deviating that far down even if he had started naming names—he already caught a huge break previously and no DA office is going to repeat the same mistake twice. The PR would be horrendous for them.

Epstein knew he was going to prison for the rest of his life, and nothing he could do would change that.

Any juicy info is in the coverup, not from him. Nothing is stopping an investigation of that from continuing.

An investigation of "wouldn't it be good to find out what happened?" is a lot easier to shut down. As is "is there anyone else we should charge?".

Has anyone else been charged?

if wouldn’t be a problem - in a country where rich, powerful, white men get away with raping children, it’s a different story. There will be a lot of people trying to stop the investigation.

Good bet people will be popping up all over with alibis for Epstein acting on his own, though.
