This isn't important except to me: I was in a theater production about Immigration
Last week I was fortunate to be in a theater production by the Empathos Theater Company in Tacoma. The play was called "Sincerely America" it began with 5 people in a room reading letters from their families who had just come to America and ended with the dramatized monlogue of recent immigrants and in the middle a play about one families journey to America and how it "takes only one generation to forget" It was a wonderful production. I was the German letter reader and loved it.
What really was wonderful was the panel discussion afterward and the respinse of the audience. After hearing so much vitriol and bullshit about immigrants every day, the response of the audience was so wonderful and supportive. It kind of restores your faith in humanity and prvided a needed emotional boost for me!
That's it! Nothing earth shattering, but just a bright spot in the trump hell hole!
