I haven't been able to watch any of the lies and I've no plans to. Worse than listening to the Obama bashing is hearing all those fools cheering and applauding.

Romney is at the best a liberal Republican but he is playing a true conservative in order to pander to the base of his party.

They'll tell us it was game changing and Reaganesque.

Even though we know he is a Pompous Robot and will come off that way as well. He'll fall on his face tonight and they'll still tell us this

But only because I've never heard more than sound bites of his speeches.

I just know he's gonna talk shit about our President.

He will not offer anything of substance to make our lives better.

He'll probably not talk about GW Bush.

He'll say he wants to repeal the ACA.

No mention of his offshore holdings.

No foreign policy.

Lower taxes for the wealthy.

No mention of his religion.

Have I forgotten anything?

2 Days of this junk was enough. Ryan last night was the last straw.
I either end up:

A) Outraged at the lies.
B) Depressed that people buy into it.

So yes, I will be watching. And probably drinking some Chardonnay and also yelling at the TV. I'm not American; I kind of watch US politics like other people watch hockey or baseball.

Besides its getting a little bit "Isaacy" here. DISH leaves often and easily-so that's my excuse. I'ld rather watch a repeat of "Honey Boo Boo" anyway.

I got through a couple of minutes of Queen Ann, she was really awful, like one of the mean girls all grown up and wrinkly.

I watched some of Huckabees speech, it was even worse. I don't even know what that thing he said about Debbie Wasserman Shultz was about, it was a puzzling slam.

I saw a couple of minutes of Bat Shit Crazy gov of Arizona, Jan Brewer. I missed the endorsement part, she just oozes mean. But, at least she can blame it on the Arizona sun baking her brain. I assume she gets a lot of sun anyway. I have seen less leather at a biker bar.

I saw Rachel, Ed, and someone from the web, that I can't remember his name, and another guy I have never seen before talking about the convention, I can't remember what they were talking about as I was on the verge of falling asleep. But, Rachel did her usual excellent take down of who ever was lying last. I vaguely remember her tying Akin to Ryan.

Anyway that is all I can take and I am glad this thing is over. I am looking forward to Romney's convention thud in the polls.

the speech was over. THEN I listened to Rachel, Chris, Howard etc chew it up and speak it out. From the clips I've seen I missed very little.

I did like the story about George Romney giving his wife Lenore a rose every day. It was sweet, but then I respected George back in the day. He was so much a bigger person than his son could ever aspire to be.

And what I've seen of Eastwood is just terribly sad.

And I was REALLY glad that no one went home on Runway-they deserved to stay.
