(79 posts)She got life threatening hate speech thrown at her in 2008, after trying a stand-up comedy routine in a San Francisco comedy club in which she made a derogatory reference about Hillary. It was a fricken comedy routine. Thin skinned Hillary supporters were not happy with her.

(6,280 posts)Air America fired her because of her derogatory remarks about Hillary Clinton. Kind of disproves your " thin-skinned Hillary supporters" claim.

(79 posts)She was terminated because Air America wanted to re-write her contract that offered her more money. The new owner of Air America read her existing contract and wanted to amend two details: Rhodes' right to terminate at any time, and a clause that said Air America could not terminate Rhodes for any reason without paying her. Rhodes refused to amend the contract, which she was negotiated with the previous owners.

(2,533 posts)She calls everybody a whore-it is kinda her thing. Comedy get it or not.
And believe me-we have a deficit of radio worthy voices. Radio is a whole nuther ballgame talent wise & we need all the help we can get.
I suggest those who eek'd about her actually listen. Alrighty then.

(14,811 posts)I had FStv on Sling & I used to watch 'The Stephanie Miller Show' often in the morning. Sling is in a beef with the local Fox Sports channels & my local sports channel was dropped a couple weeks ago so I dropped Sling.
Glad to learn there's a Roku app!
